I'm Elvis Warutumo. For the last eight years I've been building digital businesses in Nairobi and teaching thousands of Africans to do the same. This is how I got here, and what I'm building now.
I build what I teach, and teach what I build.
I'm not a guru on a mountain handing down theory. I run real businesses, every day, and I bring people into the work with me. What I share is what is actually paying — right now, in the Kenyan and African market.

From a cyber café in Nyeri to training thousands across Africa.
It started in a cyber café.
I grew up between Nyeri and Meru. Money was never just lying around, so I learned early that if I wanted something, I had to build it. My first real classroom was a cyber café — printing, typing, helping people who'd never touched a computer get something done. That's where I first understood a simple truth: a skill someone else doesn't have is worth paying for.
The degree that didn't open doors.
I went to Dedan Kimathi University and graduated with a Procurement degree, sure it would hand me a career. It didn't. Like a lot of Kenyan graduates, I left campus with a certificate and no door it could open. So I stopped waiting for one. I went online, taught myself the skills clients were actually paying for, and started freelancing.
From freelancer to founder.
Freelancing taught me the most important lesson of my life: the internet doesn't care where you're from. A client in Nairobi pays the same as a client in New York if the work is good. Once I'd proven that for myself, I couldn't keep it to myself. I started teaching what I knew — first informally, then in structured cohorts. That became Click2Skill.
Three companies, one mission.
Today I run three businesses. Click2Skill is my edtech platform, where I've trained over 5,000 people in digital skills, AI, and freelancing. Tera Creations is my marketing agency. Africa Web Experts is my AI-powered web development company. They serve different people, but they point at the same thing: helping Africans build real income online.
What I'm doing now.
Every month I run a live masterclass on a different skill. I speak on stages across East Africa about the future of work and AI for business. And I keep building — because I teach best what I'm actively doing. I'm not interested in being the expert who stopped learning. I'm in the work, right beside you.

My faith keeps me grounded — I start most days with prayer. I'm disciplined about early mornings and the gym, because the body and the mind run on the same fuel.
I read constantly, mostly on business, finance, and how the people I admire built what they built. And I believe in showing up consistently, long after the motivation runs out. That's the real secret. There isn't a hack.
